Liebherr Premium Frost Free Fridge Freezer with BioFresh 256L

This Liebherr ICBb5152 Prime BioFresh integrated Fridge Freezer has a total net capacity of 267 litres which is made up of a 210 litre frisge and 57 litre freezer compartment. The fridge compartment has 3 glassline shelves and 2 x BioFresh compartments for Fruit and vegetables, meat, fish and milk. The Biofresh compartments help these products retain their healthy vitamins, the delicate aroma and appetising appearance considerably longer at a temperature of slightly above 0 °C than in a conventional refrigeration compartment.

Accurate and independent temperature control of the refrigerator compartment and freezer compartment of combined fridge-freezers is achieved through DuoCooling with two completely separate cooling circuits. And there is no air exchange between the refrigerator and freezer compartment. This prevents odour transfer and stops the stored food from drying out.

The bottom mounted freezer compartment has VarioSpace drawers and an Ice cube tray with a lid. The freezer uses Liebherr NoFrost technology to ensure long-term freshness. The food is frozen with chilled recirculating air, and any humidity is expelled. As a result, the freezer is always free of ice, and food no longer frosts over. NoFrost convenience makes defrosting a thing of the past.

The innovative touchscreen controls with an LC display guarantee that the selected temperatures for the individual wine safes are constantly maintained. The digital display accurately indicates the temperature to the nearest degree and all functions can easily be selected and adjusted using the touchscreen interface. A door and temperature alarm alerts you to any irregularities, e.g. the door is left open, and a child safety function prevents any unintentional changes to the settings.

FlexSystem offers flexible, organised and easy to view storage for foods in the BioFresh and BioCool drawers. For example, fruit and vegetables can be stored separately or foods could be arranged according to their use by date. All FlexSystem components are long-lasting, easy to clean and dishwasher safe.#

The humidity control plates allow the air humidity to be set individually in the BioFresh compartments. The DrySafe in the BioFresh compartment with low humidity is ideal for storing meat, fish and dairy products. Fruit and vegetables are best kept unwrapped in the filled BioFresh HydroSafe at a humidity level of up to 90 %.

FrostSafe. With the FrostSafe, the extra-high and removable drawers are closed all round. This means that the cold cannot dissipate so quickly when the appliance is opened. The transparent front of the compartments guarantees an optimum overview of the frozen items.

PowerCooling system. The high-performance PowerCooling system rapidly cools down freshly stored food and creates an even cooling temperature throughout the interior. A door contact switch turns the fan off when the door is opened.This saves valuable energy.

SmartFrost. Compared to other static freezers, Liebherr’s SmartFrost technology freezes food faster, and reduces ice build-up, making defrosting simpler and quicker. It also provides a more flexible storage area with greater capacity and improved energy consumption for lower running costs.

Automatic SuperFrost function. The automatic SuperFrost function makes freezing simple and saves energy. It quickly reduces the temperature to -32 °C and thus creates the cold air required to preserve vital vitamins. As soon as the food is completely frozen, the automatic SuperFrost function switches back to normal mode after max. 65 hours, and thus assists in saving electricity.

Reversible door hinges. The appliances are factory fitted with door hinges on the right. The reversible door hinges permit optimum use of the appliance wherever it is located.
