VarioSpace, you can remove drawers to accommodate larger items for added flexibility. SmartFrost technology freezes food faster and reduces ice build-up, so you spend less time defrosting your appliance. And, thanks to SuperFrost, the temperature is quickly reduced to -32˚C, freezing fresh food quickly and sealing in vital vitamins. What’s more, the Fc1404 includes FrostProtect which means it will work in temperatures as low as -15˚C – ideal if you need to keep it in a garage or outbuilding.
SuperFrost. Want to freeze your fresh food in a way that preserves vitamins? Simply activate SuperFrost – and the freezer compartment will increase its cooling capacity. In this way, the temperature remains constant when you place in unfrozen food. SuperFrost is also energy-saving: if you don't switch off the function manually, it automatically deactivates itself after 65 hours.
FrostProtect. Not all freezers are fitted in heated rooms. Some are located in cold garages or sheds. It’s good then that your Liebherr is ideally set up for such a cool environment because all components are designed to operate in ambient temperatures as low as -15 °C.
TouchControl.A gentle finger tap and you set your Liebherr to 3, 5, 7 or 9° with TouchControl. So simple – and efficient, as the sleek button is integrated into the interior, creating more space for all your fresh goods.
VarioSpace. All freezers with NoFrost and SmartFrost feature drawers and intermediate glass shelves underneath them which can be conveniently removed.This results in VarioSpace – the practical system for extra storage space so that space can be created quickly even for larger frozen food items.
LED freezer compartment lighting. When you open the drawers in your Liebherr freezer, not only are you welcomed by the sight of your food, but also by the attractive lighting. This is provided by powerful, long-life, environmentally-friendly LEDs. The lighting makes it even easier to see all of the contents and is also a unique design element.
Power failure alarm. Your Liebherr is a real guardian angel for your food. In the event of a power failure, it reliably sounds the alarm. Not only do you hear the alarm, but you can also see it. The display shows the highest temperature reached in the freezing compartment. However, you are never alerted unnecessarily. If there is no critical rise in temperature during a brief power failure, the alarm will not go off.
SabbathMode.On the Sabbath, all activities are at rest – this also applies to electrical appliances. Your Liebherr takes this into account. In SabbathMode, all lighting and displays are switched off and there are no noises generated by actions, e.g. alarms. After 80 hours, the SabbathMode deactivates.
Display Lock. An illuminated display is a magnet for children's hands – your Liebherr also knows that. That's why there is the display lock. It ensures the settings on your refrigerator are not changed unintentionally. You can also, of course, simply deactivate the display lock. Door Alarm.
Temperature alarm. In your Liebherr freezer, food is safe even in the event of a fault: the temperature alarm reliably warns you the moment the temperature reaches a critical level. No only do you hear this alarm, but you also see it. The display shows how far the temperature has risen. You can of course switch off the alarm manually.
