The water and energy is saved through targeted water distribution, optimised filter technology, faster heating and higher pump performance for increased water circulation.  The proper loading of all your different dishes can be challenging. The Max Flex baskets make it as easy as it gets with a more stable lower basket and flip tines to easily place large items. Further, newly designed glass shelves, anti sliding strips and cup shelves prevent your load from sliding. For smaller kitchens items the Extra Space 3rd basket or a cutlery drawer at the top are available. Max Flex baskets opens up for stable loading and flexibilty for all your dishes.The specially designed Extra Space 3rd basket located in the top of the dishwasher offers more space for difficult to place items. And due to its movable knife tray, the 3rd basket also increases the loading capabilities of the basket below, making it especially easy to fit in bigger wine glasses and more. The Extra Space 3rd basket opens up a new range of loading possibilities especially for smaller kitchen items.

The Bosch SMD6EDX57G has TimeLight: exact remaining time is clearly projected onto the floor. TimeLight you are informed that your dishwasher is operating and the remaining time of operation is displayed on the floor. In addition also the current progress of operation is shown. The silence programme is the quietest way to run your dishwasher. By activating it, you automatically reduce the noise levels of your dishwasher to the lowest minimum possible. This is achieved by an especially adapted Eco 50 °C programme, a reduced spray pressure and extended cleaning phase.

Your Bosch SMD6EDX57G listens to you. Thanks to partnering with Amazon Alexa, your dishwasher can be controlled by voice as well. Also has  The Extra Clean Zone with 3 rotating water nozzles produces a strong flow of water for dishes that require extra soaking. With this, your dishes are reached by three times more water and get extra clean with no increase of detergent or temperature. The Extra Clean Zone can be easily activated with just one touch via an on & off sign and makes even heavily soiled dishes come out spotless. The IntensiveZone option, which can be added to many programmes, ensures a higher spraying pressure and increases the temperature in the lower basket. Heavily soiled pots and pans are cleaned optimally whilst more delicate dishes can be placed in the upper basket.
