The Steepletone SAB2019 radio is perfect for anyone who likes to listern to air traffic control when your near an airport.or shortwave stations from around the world. This compact battery operated, radio uses 3 x AA batteries comes with a soft carry case and receives 14 wavebands. The PLL circuit will ensure the radio locks on to those stations. 

It has an auto-scan facility as well as a rotary tuning wheel that is highly sensitive, so you can continue to add to your list of discoveries. If you prefer to listen to your favourites, it has a facility that allows you to pre-set up to 120 choices, meaning it's not necessary to search each time you want to listen. The radio has a socket so that you can plug in your own headphones and block out external noise to improve the quality of the sound. It also has an LED backlight that shows the waveband you are tuned into.
